Submission for the GMTK Game Jam 2024. I haven't participated in a game jam in a long time and I'm really excited to throw something out there.

Game / Controls

You're loose in your dad's hobby room, playing with his model train set! Pick things up, hit them with other things, push levers, discover secrets go crazy!

E - Interact / Pickup

LMB - Extend Arm

A/D - Move Left/Right

Esc/P - Pause

Theme

I interpreted "Built to Scale" in a more thematic way for my project. The theme made me think of to-scale models, like model train sets that a dad would put together in his basement. My dad never did this. Not sure where I'm getting this experience from.

I really enjoy the way scale can alter how we interact with objects. Take a large object and scale it down so you can manipulate it? That's just really cool to a child. We should think like children more. Pick things up and throw them because that's cool. I dunno, I hope you dig it.
